After 2.5 years of closure due to Covid-19, we opened Villa Malpe in September 2022 and have had hundreds of guests since then. The Diwali and Christmas periods were particularly busy with no vacant rooms whatsoever. Otherwise our guests have mainly stayed with us during weekends.
It’s been a learning experience for us, but we’re really pleased that most of our guests were very happy when they left. There have been a few hitches along the way (eg. air-conditioners not working) but we’ve pulled through. Our staff, under Chandan Ram’s able leadership, have ensured that things have run pretty smoothly.
We plan to reopen in late September 2023 after the monsoons.
